Gillian P. Jones Gayle specializes in trial advocacy. She earned an undergraduate degree in Law from the University of the West Indies in 2014, where she was an executive member of the Mona Law Society. She then graduated from Norman Manley Law School in 2016. Gillian was called to the Jamaican Bar in December 2016 and holds a practicing certificate from the General Legal Council of Jamaica. She is a member of the Jamaican Legal Aid Council, Jamaican Bar Association and the Advocates Association. Before joining us, she spent a year as a Criminal Defense Attorney in Jamaica working closely with the Legal Aid Council. Then she began prosecuting for the Government of Jamaica including fraud matters, sexual assault cases and other serious offences. She is currently preparing to be admitted into the Maine bar.
