Braden A. Beard specializes in labor and employment, civil rights, and complex civil cases. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law and was an Associate Editor on the Texas Law Review. Before joining Johnson, Webbert & Young, Braden worked in Washington, DC, at an international class-action firm, representing claimants in antitrust, consumer protection, and environmental cases. He also served as a law clerk for two federal judges. In law school, Braden worked at a nonprofit that helped low-income workers with employment matters. Before law school, Braden graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas and served as a volunteer teacher in American Samoa. Braden’s application to practice law in Maine is pending. He is currently licensed to practice in Illinois and Washington, D.C.
